Out 'n' About, an UK brand, has won legions for its range jogging buggies. This model is the best running buggy they've ever made. It's lightweight and easy to steer, but it has big robust 16-inch wheels that tackle even the most difficult terrain. It features fixed wheels that are easy to lock straight while running. You can also use the lever on the handlebar, and let the front wheel spin when you're walking around or attempting to climb hills.

The suspension is superb, especially on rocky and bumpy bridleways of the Peak District where we tested it. The brake on the handlebar was not as responsive to us as we would have liked and the Nipper Sport V4 cannot be used with an infant car seat or carrier (although it is compatible with an infant insert) and can only be used for occasional sleep.

The instructions are clear and we were able to put it together in less than 10 mins. It is necessary to install the seat liner and hood yourself but we found that was easy - it only requires some patience when you are feeding the harness straps into the openings in the seat liner. The seat's back comes with a medium-sized bag however it's not large enough to hold a change bag.

The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 is suitable for use starting at birth. However, it's recommended that you wait until the child is six-months-old before using it to run. This is due to the fact that the harness isn't sturdier enough to hold the newborn, and you'll need a separate carrycot or newborn insert.
